Winter is coming soon, along with it’s dry and cold weather. My skin tends to change with the seasons and as winter approaches I need to prep my skin, which means exfoliate and moisturize! Here are a few of the things I like to use use to get my skin winter ready.
1.) Jason Natural Cosmetics Dandruff Relief Shampoo with rosemary, olive, and jojoba. My scalp tends to get really flaky and itchy during the winter months. This shampoo has been the only one that clears my scalp, leaving it clear and healthy looking. You can purchase this at most drug stores or on Amazon.
2.) Cuccio Naturale Milk & Honey Body Butter. My skin gets really dry and tight in the winter, so I love a good body butter! I am literally obsessed with this one. It not only moisturizes my skin, but doesn’t leave an oily or sticky residue afterwards. You can find this gem on Amazon.
3.) Olive Oil & Coffee Grinds. I use this for both my body and my face. My skin tends to get patchy in some areas during the winter, so exfoliating is my best friend. I’ve tried a lot of exfoliants, but most leave me with a rash, due to the fact that I have sensitive skin. I mix the olive oil and coffee grinds together until i have a coarse, muddy, consistency. The coffee grinds are a wonderful natural exfoliant, while the olive oil helps draw out the bad oils, leaving the good ones behind to help keep your skin hydrated.
4.) Aquaphor. My lips get so dry and cracked during the winter months and chapstick does not cut it. I usually apply this on my lips as a night treatment, leaving my lips so kissable the next day!
I hope that these tips help keep you nice and hydrated through the winter! What are some of your favorite products to use during the winter? Please share in the comments below <3
